Are you looking for a rewarding career opportunity in Naas, Co.Kildare? Our client is seeking an Evaporator Operator to join their dynamic team. This full-time and permanent role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience in Manufacturing.

Job Purpose: Responsible for the operation of the Evaporation system and ancillary equipment
Reports to: Production Manager
Location: Naas, Co Kildare

Salary EUR 15 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:
•Operation and adjustment of the evaporation and supply equipment
•Maintain operations data such as time, production units and quality information
•Plan and establish work schedules, assignments and production
•Report to the Production Manager on a daily basis with all relevant production information and detail any non-conformances
•Report to the technical team any non-conformances and actions taken
•Report any machine problems to the Engineering department
•Monitoring of productivity and performance of the packing department, meeting all relevant KPIs
•Participate in Manufacturing/Operations meetings regarding maintenance as required
•Ensuring that the highest levels of quality and workmanship are maintained and all required training needs for the function are met
•Maintain a clean and tidy working area

 Skills / Qualifications/ Experience:
•3 years in a similar role in a Manufacturing environment is essential
•A food-based diploma is desirable but not essential
•Technical operator experience is essential
•Experience in understanding and using computerised controls is preferred
•Understanding of pumps and control valves preferred
•Experience with chemicals and hot liquid handling is preferred
•Experience in CIP of food production equipment preferred
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
•Strong negotiation skills are essential.
•Ability to multi-task is essential.
•A clear demonstration of an ability to provide guidance and motivation to others is required.
•Working hours must be flexible.
