Kilcash N.S. is situated in the village of Kilcash on the southern slopes of Slievenamon overlooking the Suir Valley. It is equidistant from Clonmel and Carrick-on-Suir, approx. 12km and is in the catchment area for for Secondary Schools in both towns.
The present building built in 1958, is a modern three teacher school catering for the needs of the primary children in the local area. The school principal is Mr. Laurence Flynn who teaches 4th class through to 6th class. Middle classes are taught by Ms. O’Neill and the junior section is taught by Ms. Cleary. Learning support is provided by Ms. Siobhán Ryan.
