The Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB) was established in 1999 and offers courses at Higher Certificate, Ordinary Degree, Honours Degree, Masters and PhD levels. Courses are offered on a full-time, part-time, work-based and online basis in the areas of Computing, Engineering, Horticulture, Social Care, Languages, Social and Community Development, Sports Management and Coaching, Creative Digital Media and Business. In conjunction with FÁS, ITB is participating in Phase 4 and 6 of the Apprenticeship Training Programme. The Institute of Technology Blanchardstown has reviewed all its programmes to ensure that they meet the standards defined in the National Framework of Qualifications. The Institute of Technology Blanchardstown has been granted Delegated Authority from HETAC to make awards to suitable candidates.
